A global leader in commercial real estate, Cushman & Wakefield, sought the help of PowHer Consulting for strategic communications as they began to rollout a “digital workplace” to remote users across the globe.

PowHer Consulting gathered detailed data to create a stakeholder analysis to understand the user community and create a multi-tiered communications and training plan. Once approved, we began to strategically communicate the rollout of the tools and commence training which included quick reference guides.

PowHer Consulting ensured the delivery of the “digital workplace” was a huge success with a 90% approval rating from the staff. PowHer Consulting communicated to and trained over 53K employees across 400 offices in 60 countries.
Client: UNICEF
The Challenge
Agency of the United Nations responsible for providing humanitarian aid to children nationwide partnered with PowHer Consulting to develop a set of Golden Rules and equitable Ways of Working for Child Protection Headquarters. They also wanted custom culture workshops for the staff.
PowHer Approach
After reviewing the internal team’s work on the Golden Rules, PowHer Consulting met with the team to conduct anonymous listening sessions to gain perspective on the team and add “color” to the Ways of Working. This also allowed for customization of the culture workshops. The three-hour workshops took place bi-weekly and included a pre-work and a post-assignment survey to ensure the messages could be applied in the workplace.

PowHer Consulting delivered over 40 hours of culture development to staff in 19 countries. These sessions included discussions about creating safe spaces, cultural humility, and inclusive leadership.
Client: SER Jobs for Progress of the Texas Gulf Coast, Inc
The Challenge
National non-profit agency founded almost 60 years ago enlisted the help of PowHer Consulting to create a DEI curriculum to aid in facilitating equitable workplaces for women placed in non-traditional jobs such as construction.
PowHer Approach
PowHer Consulting worked with the executives at SER to understand the programs offered as well as the working climates their clients have been placed. The team developed outlines, agendas, desk manuals, and quick tips for six 2-hour courses which would later become the DEI curriculum SER would use for their clients. As a bonus, PowHer Consulting created a DEI charter for their clients to acknowledge and adhere to equitable ways of working while SER clients were on their sites.

PowHer Consulting facilitated over 20 courses once the curriculum was completed for SER to over 100 client employees and trained the SER staff as well. The program has become a selling point for the organization, gaining them new clients monthly (as early as one week after the course was released).
Client: BHP Billiton
The Challenge
Australian multinational mining and metals company worked with PowHer Consulting to manage the behavioral change associated with an SAP project in the Finance Department. The project had gone over budget was beyond its schedule by almost two years.
PowHer Approach
With the knowledge of the project’s poor performance, PowHer Consulting set out to deliver beyond and above to gain some wins for the project in change management starting with the stakeholder analysis and change impact assessment. Once complete, we were able to formulate a change strategy that we could execute which led to our team being asked to lead the entire project. PowHer Consulting managed the remainder of the project, and it was delivered on time to the client’s satisfaction.

Client: Toyota & Lexus
The Challenge
One of the largest automobile manufacturers in the world worked with PowHer Consulting to develop online and in-person diversity training for their Human Resources staff and sales staff at dealership across the United States.
PowHer Approach
PowHer Consulting developed an interactive one-hour training course to be delivered to sales staff in dealerships. This course was reviewed several times by Toyota executives to ensure the proper “voice” was being used and it aligned with Toyota’s core values. PowHer Consulting resources were used to travel the country and deliver the training as well. The online course was developed along with a 3rd party technology expert to ensure the quizzes and animation captured the audience appropriately and with the right tone. The project required several meetings with executives to ensure they understood storyboard, key objectives, and takeaways from each deliverable.

PowHer Consulting delivered over 50 training courses to more than 750 attendees at 10+ dealerships across the United States and garnered 99% presentation rating from the attendees.
Client: Chevron
The Challenge
One of the largest multinational energy corporations specializing in oil and gas partnered with PowHer Consulting to manage the Change Management practice for the newly develop Cyber Intelligence Center. The responsibilities included developing the change strategy, communications, and training plan; along with managing five resources.
PowHer Approach
PowHer Consulting is a team of change experts and leadership consultants who understand that to ensure adoption of a change, there must be strong communication of the effort and a thorough training plan. We worked with the client to understand the nuances of cyber intelligence and the key stakeholders who needed to be involved with the project. After a series of stakeholder engagements and table talks, we developed leadership engagement “walk-throughs” of the center and training of the entire Chevron user community. This effort took several months but was completed with success.
